Amy Vandergon
I'm a Senior Technical Product Manager with 12+ years of experience working on, designing, and building products that support rights management and digital distribution of music according to complex licensing deals. My products reflect a love for data analysis, a deep understanding of business strategy, and a desire to center artists within music technology.
I studied classical piano and percussion at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, and studied music theory at the University of Washington. My MA thesis was a collection of studies of large-scale temporal organization and perception in three post-Classical works.
For many years, photography has been my side gig. (At times, it was my main gig, too.) I worked at a photo lab all through college and started doing wedding photography in the days of film. These days, I take on select gigs for clients - mainly concert photography, portraits, events, and occasional weddings. Check out my photography portfolio here, and hmu if you'd like to work together.
